Collin Groves

Collin Groves is a Vice President at BDev Ventures, a $100M+ family office Venture Capital fund, where he leads diligence, deal activity, and portfolio operations. He has made 48 investments in early-stage software startups alongside notable firms such as Thrive Capital, Y-Combinator, Lerer Hippeau, QED, and Revolution. Previously, as a Director at EY-Parthenon, he was a founding member of the Corporate Venture Capital as a Service (CVCaaS) team, setting up 5 Corporate Venture Capital Funds and investing vehicles across the agriculture, healthcare, insurance, and energy sectors. His clients included industry leaders such as MetLife (NextGen Ventures), Growmark and CHS (Cooperative Ventures), Braskem (Oxygea Ventures), Biogen, and Ferring. Collin set up best-in-class governance structures and operations while developing investment theses to drive both strategic and financial returns while synergistically leveraging the capabilities of the parent entities. Additionally, he advised Fortune 500 companies on $1B+ in digital transformation benefits and $5B+ in M&A buy-side activity. Collin holds a Masters in Business from Georgetown University and a Finance degree from the University of Oklahoma.
